Developed by EBC Racing, the RP-X compound is an ultra-high performance track and race formulation with a stable ~0.55 mu friction up to and beyond 850 C. Expect firm, repeatable pedal response under sustained heat. Nucap NRS hook pad retention provides robust mechanical bonding, while stainless steel back plates help manage heat and resist corrosion. Compared with RP-1, RP-X offers improved pedal feel and is engineered to be kind to discs/rotors.
