BMW 230i Performance Air Intake - Dinan - Carbon Fiber ('23-'26). A purpose-built, semi-open intake that replaces the stock box to increase airflow, sharpen throttle response, and add authentic induction sound.
Engineered for the G42 230i, Dinan reworks the entire lower air box, enlarging volume by about 60% to house a 40% larger, free-flowing filter (115 in² vs 82 in²). Patterned secondary openings on the side opposite the engine supplement the factory snorkel and, per Dinan testing, avoid increases in turbo inlet temperatures across varied driving scenarios. The carbon fiber lid and intake tube help reduce restriction versus stock, and the OE resonator is removed, making turbo spool and BOV more audible while expanding headroom for higher-power builds.
