Dinan’s robust 45 mm-thick core replaces the 26.75 mm OEM unit and adds 68% more heat-transfer surface area and volume. Bar-and-plate construction with full-size end tanks increases thermal mass for better absorption and release of heat, assisting both charge and engine cooling. In Dinan testing, charge air temperatures dropped an average of 8.7°C, with peaks near 12°C over 30 successive WOT pulls, improving consistency while reducing heat soak and the likelihood of limp mode.
