Dinan’s application-specific assembly replaces the factory lever with a counterbalanced, rubber‑isolated two‑piece 416 stainless steel and aluminum stick. Expected throw reduction is approximately 20–25% while preserving shift precision. The design retains the nylon pivot ball and shifter bushing for smooth, quiet operation, and uses a dampened pivot cup with a self‑lubricating bearing plus polymer Iglide T‑500 lower pivot bushings. Simple installation and zero maintenance. Not compatible with xDrive. 128i fitment limited to 2008–2010. Fits select E82/E88/E90/E92 applications, including 135i within the listed years.
