This complete rear axle conversion kit replaces the factory c-clip setup on Ford 8.8" diffs for ’95–’02 Explorers, providing a bolt‑in, high‑strength axle solution for off-road and performance use.

The Yukon Ultimate 88 kit uses 4340 chrome‑moly alloy axles with cold roll formed splines and advanced heat treating for improved strength and durability. The kit converts your housing to bolt‑in axles (no welding required) — a small cut to remove the factory axle bearing seat is needed. It comes complete with axles, axle bearings, seals, and all necessary hardware. The double‑drilled axles accept both 5 x 4.5" and 5 x 5.5" bolt patterns and increase overall axle width by 1" per side while eliminating the factory c‑clips. Yukon backs these axles with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
