This fourth-generation RS9000XL combines durability and tunability: an integrated bottom mount increases strength while a dual-component 2K paint finish improves chip resistance. The application-specific tri-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid to maintain performance across wide temperature swings (-40 to 248°F). An easy-to-reach nine-position knob lets you dial in firmness for towing, hauling, or trail driving. Internal upgrades such as a low-friction self-lubricating seal, graphite-filled fluon-banded piston and polyurethane rebound bumper improve responsiveness and reduce ride harshness, while nitrogen pressurization (45 or 60 PSI) minimizes foaming and fade. Fits Chevrolet Silverado 1500 1/2-ton rear applications and is backed by Rancho’s limited lifetime warranty.
