ACT's Sport pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design to raise clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life. Diaphragms receive a four-stage heat treatment, and precision cover stampings add rigidity and consistency. The rigid 6-pad race disc employs high-quality ceramic friction material with a heat-treated chrome-moly hub. This lightweight setup enables faster shifting and stable high-RPM operation. Expect light to moderate pedal effort with aggressive engagement; some gear rattle and a harsher take-up are normal trade-offs. Recommended for race use only.
