Ram 5500 Transmission Package - BD Diesel Roadmaster AS69RC (2019–2024). A purpose-built replacement for AS69RC-equipped Ram 5500 trucks with the 6.7L Cummins, focused on durability and consistent shift quality.
The Roadmaster addresses known AS69RC weak points while maintaining stock drivability. BD’s nitride-coated billet K2 hub combats the common spline/tooth wear issue. Custom-selected frictions preserve OEM shift feel, and a stiffer pressure regulator spring raises maximum line pressure for stronger clutch apply. The BD Deep Sump Pan increases capacity by 3.5 quarts to support fluid life and cooling, while nitrile pan and PTO gaskets replace leak-prone cork. An OE-style ProForce torque converter and a new sprag are included.
