Ram 5500 Transmission Package - BD Diesel - Roadmaster AS69RC - '19-'24. A purpose-built transmission and converter package for 2019–2024 Ram HD trucks with the Aisin AS69RC, focused on durability and consistent, OE-like shift quality.
BD addresses known AS69RC weak points without overdoing the recipe. A nitride-coated billet K2 hub corrects the common spline wear issue, while custom-selected frictions maintain factory shift feel. An upgraded pressure regulator spring raises maximum line pressure for firmer clutch apply. The BD Deep Sump Pan adds 3.5 qt for improved fluid life and cooling, and nitrile pan/PTO gaskets replace leak-prone cork. Package includes an OE-style ProForce torque converter, new clutches, and a new sprag.
