The exclusive diaphragm design increases clamp load while reducing deflection to help extend friction life. ACT’s four-stage heat-treated diaphragm and precision cover stampings add consistency at high RPM. The street disc uses premium organic friction with high copper content for improved heat transfer, a steel-backed lining for burst strength, and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub. Minimum-weight construction promotes faster shifts with light to moderate pedal effort and smooth, positive engagement. Note: rigid design may increase spline wear and gear rattle.
