The Heavy Duty diaphragm increases clamp load, reduces deflection, and helps extend life, with four-stage heat treatment and precision cover stampings. The sprung 4-pad disc uses wraparound spring windows and thicker retainers to support damping and resist failure. Expect more aggressive engagement for quicker shifts and light to moderate pedal effort. Select ceramic friction materials handle heat, and each unit is clamp-load tested and computer balanced.
