This Stage 1 LST grind is a proven choice for 4.8/5.3 turbo engines and “cam-only” setups where back pressure is unknown. Developed for stable valve motion, it supports up to 7400 rpm when paired with COMP CK or MK kits. Direct fit for 1999–2013 Silverado 1500 4.8L and 5.3L engines, and compatible with many GM LS platforms. CK and MK camshaft kits with appropriately matched valvetrain components are available; MK kits are offered with 24x or 58x timing sets.
