The optimized carbon fiber tube follows factory routing with a straighter, freer-flowing path, feeding a larger-volume airbox and enlarged cylindrical filter. The result is efficient airflow, improved throttle response, and a sporty induction note. On the M2, typical gains are up to +8 hp and +6 lb-ft without other modifications; on other N55 platforms, up to +10 hp and +15 lb-ft. Installation is a quick bolt-on, generally under an hour. Note: installation on convertibles and the M2 requires modification of a brace; consult the official instructions.
