ACT’s modular Mod-Twin design doubles the friction surface and channels torque through a heat-treated chrome-moly Mono-Drive hub for strength and input shaft protection. A forged aluminum cover and an exclusive four-stage heat-treated diaphragm spring provide consistent clamping, while steel-backed premium friction plates offer a stable coefficient, strong heat capacity, and long service life. The kit arrives complete with a CNC-machined, dynamically balanced flywheel. Expect soft, progressive engagement, light pedal effort, smooth shifting, and the possibility of moderate to increased transmission gear noise typical of performance twin discs. Mod-Twin clutches are fully rebuildable and customer serviceable.
