These EBC Ultimax rotors offer the benefit of slotted surfaces with progressively angled slots that reduce the air noise commonly associated with conventional slotted rotors while helping to pull cool air into the braking area. The slots aid in clearing dust and debris from the pad surface, which can help maintain pad bite and may extend pad life under normal driving conditions. Manufactured to OE-style specifications for the 1999–2002 BMW Z3 front application, these vented discs are intended as a direct replacement for FMSI pad number D558.
