This DBA 4000 Series HD rotor is cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and undergoes Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP) to better resist thermal distortion under repeated heavy use. DBA's patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation with 144 diamond- and teardrop-patterned pillars increases surface area and improves cooling efficiency versus traditional straight vane designs, helping the rotor shed heat more effectively during demanding driving.
