Mazda RX-8 Brake Rotor (1) - Front - DBA - 4000 Series Plain - 04-11. A direct-replacement front rotor from DBA’s 4000 Series HD line designed to provide improved heat management and consistent braking while retaining an OE-style, smooth finish.
Cast from XG-150 high carbon alloyed iron and subjected to DBA’s Thermal Stability Profiling (TSP), this plain front rotor handles repeated high-stress braking with reduced risk of distortion. The patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation uses 144 diamond- and teardrop-patterned pillars to increase surface area and improve cooling compared to traditional straight-vane designs, helping maintain pad bite and fade resistance during spirited driving or demanding street use. The 4000 Series HD delivers these performance-focused metallurgy and cooling benefits while keeping a smooth, OE-style appearance suitable for drivers who want performance without drilled or slotted rotors.
