Flashback to the brand's earliest days in 1967, in a meager garage shop in Portland, Oregon, Jerry Logan sought to solve a real-world problem for off-roaders everywhere. The sport of conquering rugged, often uncharted terrain in otherwise street-legal trucks was on the climb.

This notion often posed a more significant obstacle to the off-roader than the trail itself.
