This Seibon DS-style hood is hand-crafted from 3K 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber with a controlled carbon/resin ratio for high stiffness and strength. Each hood is finished with a glossy clear coat that resists chipping and flaking, and components are inspected during production to ensure a consistent weave pattern and quality finish. The hood reuses OEM install hardware where applicable, promotes heat extraction from the engine bay, and is offered as a made-to-order item—allowing precise manufacture but potentially requiring additional lead time. Important fitment notes: hood pins are required, a heatshield is required, and stock shocks/dampers should not be used with this hood.
