These NGK Laser Iridium plugs combine a durable iridium center electrode and precision manufacturing to provide consistent ignitability and long service life without overstating performance. The iridium tip is harder than platinum and paired with NGK’s high-grade pure alumina ceramic insulator and a 98% pure copper core to manage heat and support reliable starts. Many Laser Iridium plugs include a platinum pad on the ground electrode for even wear in distributorless ignition systems.
