This Vertex 250cc top-end piston kit is designed to match A, B or C bore specifications so you can select the correct piston for your cylinder. Each kit includes piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips, and the skirts are finished with a molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) coating to promote faster break-in and reduce initial friction. The pistons are heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle to deliver consistent material properties for service life and durability. Proper fit helps reduce blow-by and oil consumption when matched to the correct bore size.
