APR raises pump displacement by 41% by enlarging the internal pressurizing cylinder, helping the direct-injection system hold commanded pressure under heavy load. Each unit uses a genuine Hitachi pump body with APR precision internals, including a DLC-coated plunger and heat-treated stainless components, assembled and bench-tested in-house to tight tolerances. An upgraded, weight-matched spring and new seals promote consistent operation. Use appropriate ECU software and inspect/replace the cam follower during installation.
