APR machines and assembles each unit under strict guidelines to extreme tolerances as tight as 0.00004 in (0.00005 in geometric). The pressurizing components use heat-treated, bearing-grade stainless steel with a DLC-coated plunger and a weight-matched spring. By increasing the internal bore, the pump displaces about 37% more fuel than stock, helping maintain commanded pressure with larger turbo setups or ethanol blends. Each pump is built in-house, fully tested, and broken in before shipping. This is a rebuild of your existing, working Hitachi Gen 3 pump; the pump and solenoid must be in good condition.
