Volkswagen Tiguan Limited Fuel Pump – APR Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP) Upgrade, 2017–2018. This engineered system increases low-pressure fuel delivery under load while preserving factory manners.

Instead of an oversized in-tank unit that can overheat the OEM controller, APR adds a 255 LPH inline pump between the factory LPFP and HPFP. Control comes from the APR Auxiliary ECU, which ties into the factory CAN bus to command the pump only when needed. The result is stable volume for high-demand builds, reduced electrical draw, lower fuel temps, and near-silent idle operation. A built-in tank-emptying function simplifies switching fuels or preparing the car for storage. Includes tidy mounting brackets plus OEM-quality lines and connectors. Note: not compatible with vehicles that use an in-tank filter and pressure regulator. No ECU software is required for installation; changes may be needed only where specified by APR on certain high-output setups.
