Ram 5500 Transmission Package - BD Diesel - Towmaster AS69RC - 2019-2024: a matched AS69RC transmission and OE-style ProForce converter built for dependable 6.7L towing and work duty.
BD addresses known AS69RC trouble spots: a nitride-coated billet K2 hub resists spline wear, and a billet K3 drum adds rigidity and durability. Friction counts increase in K2, K3, and B1 to raise torque capacity while BD-selected materials keep shifts smooth and consistent. A BD Deep Sump Pan adds roughly 3.5 qt for better fluid life and cooling, and leak-prone cork gaskets are replaced with nitrile seals. Calibrated line pressure, billet K2/K3 apply pistons, and a new sprag round out the package.
