This Vertex piston kit is designed for riders and mechanics who want a correct replacement forged piston with proven material treatments and coatings. Each kit includes the piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips required for installation. Skirts are finished with a molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) coating to promote faster break-in and help reduce early wear. Pistons receive a T-5 heat treatment hardening and tempering cycle to improve durability under operating conditions. Exact fit A, B or C pistons are available to match your cylinder bore and help limit blow-by and oil consumption when fitted correctly.
