This Hot Cams titanium intake valve is forged from a single blank to improve grain flow and mechanical characteristics without welding. Precision machining on the valve head and seat surfaces ensures consistent sealing and fit, while an induction-hardened steel tip protects the stem end where it contacts the rocker. Compared with stock steel valves, the titanium construction reduces reciprocating mass, which may help throttle response and rev control while remaining compatible with standard retainers and seals.
