Mazda Protege Catalytic Converter - Magnaflow - OEM Grade Direct-Fit - `01-`03 is a direct-fit replacement engineered to match original equipment fit and function for 2001-2003 Mazda Protege and 2002-2003 Protege5 models. This MagnaFlow unit is built to replicate OE flow dynamics and help maintain proper emissions control on OBDII federally registered vehicles.
Constructed with corrosion-resistant stainless steel and a spun-body design, this converter uses mandrel-bent tubing and a single laser fusion weld to reduce leak points and preserve thermal efficiency. MagnaFlow’s R&D employs 3D scanning to reproduce OE geometry so the part installs using existing mount points—no cutting or welding in most applications—and includes the necessary gaskets and hardware to simplify replacement. It interchanges with OE numbers FS7N-20-600 and FS7N-20-600A and is designed to meet Federal/EPA requirements. Note: not legal for sale or installation in California, Colorado, or New York.
