K&N 77 Series Performance Air Intake for Chevrolet Silverado 2500 (2011–2014) — a direct-fit replacement intake kit engineered for the 6.6L V8. This system uses a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and a washable, reusable High-Flow air filter to improve breathing and throttle response without frequent filter changes.
The K&N 77 Series kit replaces the factory airbox and tube with a larger-diameter intake and oversized conical filter, designed to provide better airflow and reduced restriction. The washable oiled cotton media filter can allow extended service intervals under normal highway driving, and the included heat shield or airbox helps reduce intake air temperatures compared to the stock setup. Installation is typically straightforward and can be completed in under 90 minutes using common hand tools. Note: some K&N systems are not legal for sale or use on pollution-controlled vehicles in California — check the product specifications for CARB status for this part and your vehicle.
