Mazda 3 Performance Air Intake - K&N Engineering - 69 Series Typhoon - `11-`13. A high-flow cold air intake designed for 2011–2013 Mazda 3 with the 2.0L L4 engine, engineered to improve intake efficiency while retaining washable, reusable filtration.
The K&N 69 Series Typhoon replaces the factory airbox with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and an oversized conical High-Flow air filter with oiled cotton media. This combination is built to increase airflow to the engine and is backed by K&N’s No-Hassle Lifetime Limited Warranty. The oversized filter is washable and reusable and can allow up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield or airbox helps reduce hot-soak from the engine bay, and the system is typically installed in less than 90 minutes.
