This Yukon Gear & Axle set is manufactured using high-grade steels and advanced heat-treating processes with a precision tooth surface finish to reduce friction and running temperature under load. Built to OEM fitment specifications, the 3.73 ratio is a common upgrade for C5 Corvettes (1997–2004) and other Getrag-equipped applications that use a 27-spline pinion and mains shaft. The set is intended for carriers 3.15 and up and will not fit 2005+ C6 Z06, ZR1, or Grand Sport applications that use a 30-spline configuration.
