This MagnaFlow converter (part 5451187) is a California-grade, CARB-compliant direct-fit unit engineered to meet emissions requirements for 2007–2008 Dodge Nitro and 2008 Jeep Liberty applications. The spun-body design and precision metrology development — including 3D scanning used during R&D — reproduce OE flow dynamics so vehicle performance and fuel economy remain consistent. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing, the unit uses a single laser fusion weld to reduce potential leak points and a compact, low-mass profile for efficient thermal performance.
