It’s intended for use with stock pistons that have factory valve reliefs and for enthusiasts aiming to improve mid- to high‑rpm performance.

This COMP Cams Stage 1 LST cam provides a solid roller profile tuned to deliver strong torque and horsepower through the 3000–7000 RPM band while maintaining compatibility with stock pistons. It’s designed as a max‑horsepower Stage 1 option for 3‑bolt LS engines and performs best when paired with an appropriately matched valvetrain. For higher RPM stability and complete valvetrain solutions, CK and MK kit options are available; these include matched components selected to work with the camshaft.
