BMW 230i Throttle Control Module - aFe Pedal 2 Metal (2017–2021) is a Bluetooth-enabled throttle enhancer designed to reduce the delayed response common to modern drive-by-wire systems. It gives you adjustable, more immediate pedal response without cutting wires or modifying factory wiring.

The Pedal 2 Metal intercepts and remaps the accelerator signal to the vehicle ECM using factory-style connectors, providing a plug-and-play installation behind the accelerator pedal in minutes. Using the free iOS/Android app, you can select and fine-tune five driving modes to suit city driving, spirited runs, or towing situations. The unit also offers Valet Mode to limit performance and Pedal Lock Mode to prevent throttle activation when needed. Users report improved throttle feel during uphill starts, passing maneuvers, and quicker, smoother transmission shifts without altering engine power or requiring permanent hardware changes.
