This aFe Pro 5R unit uses five layers of pre-oiled cotton gauze with progressive layering and deep, open pleats to increase usable filter surface area. The design allows higher flow even as the filter loads, and the factory-oiled media comes ready for immediate use. A full 360-degree polyurethane frame holds shape through repeated heat cycles and provides a pliable sealing surface that conforms to the housing, eliminating the need for gaskets or sealants. The filter is washable and reusable with aFe POWER cleaner and blue filter oil, offering multiple cleaning cycles for long-term use.
