Volkswagen Golf R Turbo Charger System - APR DTR6054 (2015–2019). A direct-replacement turbo and matching software engineered by APR for the EA888 Gen 3, delivering strong, track‑proven performance on the Mk7 Golf R.
This brand‑new unit uses a German dual ceramic ball‑bearing CHRA, a 60 mm billet 6061 compressor, a K418 54 mm turbine, and a high‑temp 310 stainless housing. It bolts to factory locations, reuses the electronic wastegate and DV, and mates with stock or upgraded intake/outlet components. Specific APR ECU software is required and installed by an Authorized APR Dealer; compatibility must be confirmed before purchase. If no file is listed for your ECU, submit a software request before buying. With proper fueling upgrades, Golf R calibrations support E60–E85 in addition to 91/93/100/104 AKI. For best results, use an upgraded intake and intercooler; consider transmission software or a clutch upgrade to prevent slip.
