Volkswagen Golf SportWagen Performance Air Intake - APR Open PEX (2015-2019). APR’s open PEX system improves airflow and response for MQB 1.8T/2.0T applications while delivering a satisfying intake sound.
The massive 7" washable cotton filter with frontal inlet and 4" rear outlet reduces pressure drop and helps the turbo work more efficiently. A high heat-deflection PEX heat shield guides cooler air to the filter and retains less heat than metal. In APR testing, the system outflowed the factory airbox by 60% (833 CFM vs 521 CFM), with gains up to +12 AWHP and +13 AWFT-LBS. Compatible with APR or factory rear intake tubes and turbo inlet pipes.

Notes: For MQB 1.8T/2.0T EA888 Gen 3. SAI models require breather filter (CI100020-A). Not compatible with EA888.3B engines with a MAF sensor or with the MS100100 intake-mounted catch can.
