Volkswagen GTI Performance Air Intake - APR - Open PEX - 2015-2021. An open system that frees up airflow and sharpens response while adding a satisfying induction note.
Built for EA888 GTI models, APR's molded PEX intake uses a massive 7-inch washable cotton filter with a frontal inlet and 4-inch rear outlet to cut pressure drop. The heat-deflecting PEX shield helps keep hot radiator air away from the tract and retains less heat than metal. Expect dyno-proven gains up to +12 wheel hp and +13 wheel lb-ft on MQB 2.0T applications, reduced turbo strain, and quick, straightforward installation. Works with APR or factory rear intake tubes and turbo inlet pipes. Note: SAI models require breather filter CI100020-A. Not compatible with EA888.3B engines using a MAF sensor or the MS100100 intake-mounted catch can.
