Volkswagen Golf R Performance Air Intake by APR - Open Carbon Fiber Intake System (2015-2019). A high-flow open design for the MK7/MK7.5 2.0T that cuts restriction and adds crisp turbo sound.

APR replaces the stock closed airbox with a large 7" washable, reusable cotton filter (front inlet, 4" rear outlet), thin-walled carbon fiber tubing, and a formed carbon heat shield. The layout reduces pressure drop, helps limit heat retention vs metal, improves response, and lets the engine breathe. Compatible with APR and factory rear intake tubes. APR testing shows gains up to +12 AWHP and +13 AWFT-LBS on supporting vehicles. Notes: SAI models require breather CI100020-A; not for EA888.3B with MAF; not compatible with the MS100100 intake-mounted catch can.
