Engineered for the MQB 1.8T/2.0T, it replaces the closed airbox with a massive 7 inch washable cotton filter (front inlet, 4 inch rear outlet) and a carbon fiber heat shield. Thin-walled carbon fiber tubing maximizes internal diameter to cut pressure drop, lessen strain on the turbo, and sharpen throttle response. Flow testing shows a 60% gain over the factory airbox (833 CFM vs 521 CFM), with dyno-proven increases up to +12 AWHP and +13 AWFT-LBS. Compatible with APR and factory rear intake tubes and turbo inlet pipes.
