Volkswagen Taos Performance Air Intake – APR PEX Open Intake System ('22-'26). A purpose-built, high-flow upgrade for the 1.5T Taos that sharpens response and lets the turbo breathe.
This open PEX intake replaces the restrictive airbox with a molded heat-shield assembly and a massive 7-inch washable cotton filter featuring a frontal inlet and 4-inch outlet. By cutting pressure drop it reduces turbo strain and sharpens throttle response. Flow testing shows up to a 113% CFM gain over stock (935 CFM @ 28 in H2O), and APR’s 1.5T test car recorded +10 wt-lb-ft and +6 whp. It installs in minutes, is plug-and-play, and does not impact emissions. Note: Taos with Secondary Air Injection requires breather filter CI100020-A.
