APR’s open-airbox design replaces factory restrictions with a massive 7-inch washable cotton filter featuring a frontal inlet and 4-inch outlet to cut pressure drop. High heat-deflection PEX forms an OEM-like heat shield that helps keep radiator heat away from the intake path. Flow-bench data shows up to 44% more CFM than stock, peaking at 730 CFM @ 28 in H2O, and dyno testing on a 1.4T vehicle recorded +8 WHP and +11 FT-LBS. Throttle response improves and turbo strain is reduced. Note: SAI models require breather filter CI100020-A.
