BMW M340i High Performance Heat Exchanger – Dinan – 2019–2026. A direct-fit, bar-and-plate aluminum upgrade engineered to keep charge temps consistent and preserve power during spirited use.

Built for the B58-powered G2x, it uses a 45mm Dinan core versus the 26.75mm OEM unit, providing 68% more heat-transfer surface and greater thermal mass. With engine coolant routed through the exchanger, it aids both charge and engine cooling. Testing recorded average charge air drops of 8.7°C, with peaks near 12°C over 30 successive WOT pulls. The robust, debris-resistant design installs as a direct replacement and helps curb heat soak that can trigger limp mode.
