The OE system routes engine coolant through the charge-cooler heat exchanger to aid engine and intake temps, but it can be overtaxed under hard use or added power. Dinan answers with a 45 mm core (26.75 mm stock) and full-size end tanks, providing 68% more heat-transfer area and greater thermal mass. Testing showed an average 8.7°C drop, with peaks near 12°C over 30 WOT pulls. The bar-and-plate, 100% TIG-welded, pressure-tested unit resists debris and helps curb heat soak and limp-mode.
