These nitrogen-charged, internal-reservoir dampers use a 6063 anodized aluminum body for heat control and corrosion resistance. A one-piece linear/digressive piston with vehicle-specific valving provides predictable response on and off road. Premium 5WT oil, a 5/8 inch chrome-plated hardened shaft, and 6061 aluminum rod ends and caps work with polyurethane bushings for OE-type fitment and long service life. A nitrile top-out bumper helps keep operation quiet. 100% rebuildable and 100% revalveable. For extreme off-road use, consider ICON’s 2.5 Series.
