Mazda Protege Clutch Kit - ACT - XT/Race Rigid 6 Pad - 2001. Designed for demanding driving, this kit pairs ACT's Xtreme pressure plate with a 6-pad rigid race disc for rapid engagement and quicker shifts.

ACT's Xtreme pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design that increases clamp load, reduces deflection, and helps extend clutch life. The diaphragm is four-stage heat treated, and precision cover stampings add rigidity and consistency. The 6-pad rigid disc uses high quality ceramic friction material and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub. Expect aggressive engagement, moderate to heavy pedal effort, and more gear rattle. Shifting is faster, but engagement is harsher. Recommended for race use only.
