We offer the best products at the best price available on every item in our store. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Orders placed with us will be charged in U.S. dollars. If you live outside the U.S., this charge is converted by your bank into your local currency and should appear on your credit card statement in that currency.
We will match the published price of any US supplier* -- even their current sales prices! If you find an item advertised at a lower price, make a notation in your online order, call or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your price match request (see terms and details below). We'll sell you the SAME item at the SAME price! If you've already purchased the item from us, we'll even price match (for store credit only) as long as you contact us with your request within 7 days of placing your order.
This offer is restricted to identical items offered for sale in writing or on the web. When making your price match request, you must provide us with a link to the competitor's Internet URL for the item, a copy of the written ad or written quotation, which must include Supplier's part number, description and price.
Price Match Terms and Fine Print:
In some cases we may choose not to price match; here are some reasons why:
• The competitor's product is not an exact match (identical manufacturer & model) with ours.
• The competitor with the lower price does not have the item in stock at their warehouse.
• The competitor's total price (including shipping, handling, taxes, etc.) is higher.
• The competitor's product is used, refurbished, reconditioned, or a display model.
• The competitor is not selling in US dollars.
• The product is a clearance or closeout item.
• The item is not found within the first 10 items listed on major search engine results.
• The competitor is not manufacturer authorized or has advertised below the manufacturers minimum allowed price for the item.
* Qualified U.S. Suppliers are established businesses that routinely and regularly sell the item to be matched from an established physical storefront or warehouse.
While we endlessly aim to maintain the accuracy of item availability, descriptions and availability, we reserve the right to correct errors. We reserve the right to choose not to honor this offer.
How to Request a Price Match:
Please send a separate email with the subject header of PRICE MATCH REQUEST. Provide the competitor's name, part number, item description, URL link to the exact item and the competitor's price along with your request to price match. If we agree to match the price, you will be contacted with a confirmation and directions on how to place your order for the price request. In the event we cannot match the price, we will notify you by email.
Alternatively, you may call us with your request. We'd love to talk with you. We generally respond to price match requests within one business day.
HOW TO PROPERLY CLEAN AND RE-OIL YOUR AIR FILTER
Watch our video as Katie shows you just how easy it is to maintain your air filter step by step.
REMOVE AND CLEAN
Clean sealing area of the filter and filter housing with a clean soft rag.
Tap the filter on a hard surface to remove and loosen large particles and debris. (A soft brush may be used to loosen large particles of debris or bugs.)
Use S&B’s Filter Cleaner to clean the filter.
Gently rinse out the cleaner using low-pressure water.
Let the filter dry for at least 24 hours.
FILL AND APPLY
Fill the applicator with the exact amount of oil required for your filter.
Starting 1/2 way from base make 2-3 passes around the circumference of the filter in the same area.
Repeat this process evenly spacing out the passes.
INSPECT AND INSTALL
Allow the oil to bleed for 20-30 minutes.
Inspect the filter for any white areas the oil did not cover.
With the remaining oil in the applicator apply a small amount of oil to those white areas.
DO NOT over oil your filter.
S&B Filters is a manufacturer of cold air intakes, filters and other performance parts, specializing in diesel/gas trucks and SUVs. Holding true to our goal, we engineer intake systems to greatly reduce airflow restriction, while still protecting your engine and test our product against our competitors following ISO 5011 standards. We keep our quality high and our pricing low by making almost everything ourselves in the U.S.
Breathe easy. Your engine and warranty are protected.
A mountain of dust and our 1/2 million dollar lab is how far we've gone to make sure your investment is protected.
Tested to a higher standard.
S&B tests to the internationally accepted ISO 5011 Standard when testing for airflow, efficiency and capacity. This is the same protocol used by most of the large automakers.
Airflow testing shows us how we compare to stock and our competitors. The goal is to beat both.
We test for efficiency to make sure that your engine is protected from debris while sucking in even more air. Lastly, we monitor the capacity of the filter to see how much dirt it can hold before needing to be serviced.
Precision and accuracy. Our environmental control system is top of the line. S&B strives for accuracy and repeatability. In order to have dependable results, you have to have tight control over the humidity, temperature and barometric pressure.
Better Airflow It's important to know how we stack up against stock and our competitors in order to be the best. We mount each intake system on our test equipment to measure the airflow from zero to the max CFM of the vehicle. We then compare the results and make design changes until we have maximized the airflow while still protecting your engine.
Protect your engine.
While airflow is important, it is equally critical to insure that your investment is protected. To do so, we first determine the max CFM the vehicle will generate at wide open throttle as it is more difficult to stop dust the greater the airflow. We then start pulling this amount of air through the intake while literally shooting fine particles of dust at the filter. Any dust bypassing the filter will be caught in the absolute blanket to determine the efficiency.
Some competitors have testing done at low CFMs in order to show higher efficiency rates, so beware.
We're not kidding. Our testing is so controlled that we even heat the absolute blankets pre and post testing in order to remove the humidity. The absolute blankets catch any dust that gets past the filter during testing in order to determine the efficiency rate.
Removing the humidity insures that you are only weighing what actually bypassed the filter. Protecting your engine while providing better airflow is our top priority.
