This Vortex Racing V3 2.0 kit uses Controlled Flexion Areas® and an intelligent protection system so the sliders deform in specific zones to help preserve the bike during an impact. Each kit is model-specific for the 2006–2016 YZF-R6 and requires no extra parts to assemble. Strong 2017 aluminum elements are CNC precision-cut and anodized matte black to resist corrosion. Molded impact pucks use a proprietary energy-absorbing material. Detailed instructions are included, and Vortex recommends installation by a certified motorcycle mechanic.
