V3 2.0 integrates controlled flexion areas® and an intelligent protection layout so the slider deforms in targeted zones, helping safeguard key components in a tip-over. Brackets are CNC precision-cut from 2017-series aluminum and anodized matte black; molded pucks use a proprietary energy-absorbing compound. The bike-specific kit includes detailed instructions and requires no extra parts; Vortex recommends installation by a certified mechanic.
