BMW X5 M Performance Air Intake – Dinan – Carbon Fiber – 2015–2018. This intake replaces the factory lid and filters to boost airflow and add carbon fiber.

Built for the F85 X5 M, this system targets the airflow chokepoint. Stock filters total 89 in². Dinan’s custom pair pull 360° and expand total area to 292.4 in²—up 228%. A carbon fiber lid enlarges the airbox ~15%, enabling more airflow and a crisper, sportier tone. With appropriate engine tuning, testing has shown gains of up to +23 hp at 5500 rpm and +25 lb-ft at 4000 rpm. Note: the lower airbox shown in some photos is not included; the factory lower box is reused.
